The maths gap doesn't start in Grade 10.
It starts in Grade 7.
Tusome teaches CBC maths one idea at a time, until your child actually gets it. Built on the KICD curriculum.
Free. No payment. Just your email.
Thirty seconds. No sign up.
This is a real lesson, not a demo of one. Tap a piece of the chapati and watch the fraction change.
That's thirty seconds of Grade 7 maths. Ready for the rest?
Start freeYou've seen the results. You just don't know what to do about them.
CBC is new. Past papers, a tuition teacher, telling them to work harder, all of that was built for an exam that no longer exists. So your child moves on to the next topic, and the one before it still doesn't make sense.
Most revision tools help your child remember. Tusome helps them understand.
Fractions start with a chapati, not a formula. So when the numbers show up, your child already knows what they mean.
What it actually looks like

Grade 7, 8, or 9. That's all we need to start.

Hand them the phone
They open the first lesson and start. You'll see what they've covered.
The account stays yours. Your child just learns.
Reading this yourself, not your parent? Good, this is for you too. A parent or guardian has to open the account, because sign-up confirms their email. Once that's done, the lessons are yours. Show them this page to get started.
Built on the curriculum your child is actually assessed on.
Checked against KICD
Every lesson follows the same CBC strand and sub strand your child's teacher is covering in class. Teachers can download Grade 7 mathematics schemes of work that link back to those lessons.
Made for Kenyan classrooms
Written for CBC the way it's taught here, in the order it's taught, with examples your child already knows.
Your child's data stays private
The account belongs to whoever signs up. We ask for as little as possible and we never sell it. Read the privacy policy.
Built in Nairobi, Kenya ❤️.
What your child actually gets
- Lessons they can touch and move, so the idea stays after the phone goes down.
- One topic at a time, in order, so nothing gets skipped.
- Somewhere to ask "but why?", the question nobody asks in a class of forty.
- Progress you can see, so you know how it's going without asking.
- Works on the phone already in the house, no laptop, no tablet, nothing extra to buy.
- Light on data, so a lesson doesn't finish anyone's bundle.
It's free.
Every lesson, free. We don't ask for M-Pesa or a card. All we want is an email, so your child's progress is saved and you can sign back in.
Questions parents ask
Is this replacing my child's teacher?
No. Tusome works on the same topics their teacher is covering, at their own pace, at home. It fills the gaps a class of forty can't.
My child will just play on the phone.
Tusome is a lesson, not a feed. There's nowhere to scroll to. You'll see exactly what they covered and for how long.
Is this approved for CBC?
Every lesson is built and checked against the official KICD curriculum designs for the grade.
How much data does it use?
It's light. Lessons are mostly words and simple drawings. No video.
I'm the student, not my parent. Can I sign myself up?
The account has to be your parent's or guardian's, because they confirm the email. After that the lessons are yours. Show this page to whoever handles things like this at home.
I'm not the parent. Can I still sign up?
Yes. An aunt, an uncle, a guardian, an older brother or sister, whoever looks after the learner can open the account. One email per home is enough.
What do you do with my email?
We use it to log you in and to reach you about your child's account. Nothing else. We don't share it and we don't sell it.
The gap is easiest to close now.
