Questions

Questions teachers ask

Is this really free?

Yes. No payment, no account. One click and it downloads.

Can I edit it before I submit it?

Yes. It's a Word document, not a PDF. Open it in Word or in Google Docs, change what your school does differently, then submit it.

Is it aligned to the KICD curriculum?

The strand, sub-strand, specific learning outcomes and key inquiry question are taken word for word from the official KICD curriculum design. The cover and every page footer name the edition it was built from.

Does every row have a Tusome link?

No. Our lessons don't cover every sub-strand yet, so some rows carry the usual resource reference and no link. Every topic still has its full row in the scheme of work.

Do I need a projector?

No. The scheme of work is a complete document on its own. The links are there for the days you have a screen.

Will it print properly?

It's A4 landscape and the header row repeats on every page, so a table running to four pages still reads.

Is Tusome part of KICD?

No. Tusome is an independent Kenyan product built on the KICD curriculum designs. It isn't affiliated with or endorsed by KICD or the Ministry of Education.

Where can I download Grade 7, 8 and 9 maths schemes of work?

Here, on this page. Pick the grade and term, tap Download, and the Word file saves to your phone or computer. No account.

Is this CBC or CBE?

Both names point at the same Kenyan curriculum. KICD now says CBE; teachers and search still say CBC. The scheme follows the current KICD curriculum designs either way.
